WINTER – SPRING – SUMMER – AUTUMN
Winter has carved its impression leaving memories of skiing, friends, weather, wine, food, good times. The drawing above was sketched by Steve while we were having lunch one day on the Monterosa, thanks, I’m very grateful for the doodle!
Now that Spring is officially with us the Monterosa is looking wonderful and the skiing at altitude is in excellent spring conditions. Perfect for Ski Touring which has already begun; pure bliss, if that’s your thing. It’s certainly mine, into the high-altitude back country, skinning up, nights in mountain refuges and early morning rises to greet the sunrise. We have availability on our ski touring weeks commencing 15th and 22nd April. During June and July this Summer we have Hiking and Yoga weeks. Hiking Tours traversing the Monterosa through Cervinia and into Gressoney, familiar locations to the skiers, and in the summer its fantastic Alpine mountain and valley terrain and scenery. For all the details see here for Hiking Tours.
Our Yoga week incorporates the Yoga Mountain Festival where renown Teachers guide you through movement and meditations in the studio and on the mountain. The Festival aims to create connections between like-minded people and to tap into the inspiration offered by a stunning and breath-taking natural environment of the Monterosa. New for this Summer is our Singing and hiking week, taking in a mountain Refuge for four nights and three nights in the village of Champoluc where there will be live music and loads of fun. For all the details see here for Singing week.
Into the Autumn we move to the mountain Refuge, Vieux Crest, which is home to our four weeks of Retreats. Here, in Nature, through Movement and Stillness and with Awareness we explore Mindfulness, Meditation, Tai Chi, Yoga, both in classes and during informal walking and hiking afternoons. These weeks are perfect for learning, practicing, renewing your energies and meeting like-minded people. We have some great Teachers leading these weeks all of whom will bring the sessions alive and inspiring.
