Georgina’s first love is music and in particular singing. She started piano lessons at an early age and discovered singing was in her heart. Georgina studied as a soprano for five years at the Royal Northern College of Music gaining a GRNCM. After leaving college, she worked as a solo performer for 10 years in the UK and in Spain.
Life took her on some unexpected journeys where she experienced teaching, conducting, parenthood, skiing and management. Georgina qualified as a school teacher with a PGCE in 1992. Whilst working as a primary school teacher, Georgina conducted many school and county choirs. She has also led a choir for teachers.
Georgina is passionate about singing, performing and has become increasingly interested in the benefits singing with others has on our health wellbeing.
